1st Kyu - Adult (Brown Belt - 2 White Stripes)

1st Dan - Adult (Black Belt)

2nd Dan and above syllabus is available only to Jin Sei Kai Yudansha.

Between 3rd Kyu and Shodan, students should anticipate that grading intervals may be extended from three to six months, particularly that period prior to attempting Shodan (Black Belt 1st Dan). 'Dan' means degree, for learning/training purposes.

Jin Sei Kai members are encouraged to think of the grading process as a lifelong journey, in which the individual seeks to excel as best he or she can. That journey is not competitive, nor should a student feel that he or she is being compared to peers. JSK values each student as an individual and for his/her own unique abilities and talents.

Ability to perform NCSKC Club Standards is also expected as part of each syllabus. These are not formally examined though it is expected you would be able to demonstrate if necessary.
